Editorial Principles

How we work.

CXOROOM aims to be a credible executive publication. These principles are the standard we hold ourselves to.

Accuracy
We verify what we publish and correct what we get wrong. Facts are checked before publication, not after complaints.
Attribution
Quotes and claims are attributed to a named person, role and organization wherever possible. We link to sources.
Corrections
Material corrections are logged and disclosed on the page. We do not quietly edit history.
Conflicts of interest
Writers and contributors disclose any commercial interest relevant to what they cover. Editors manage conflicts openly.
Sponsored content
Sponsored and partner content is always visibly labeled and never presented as CXOROOM editorial. It is excluded from editorial recommendation modules.
Contributor disclosures
Every CXO Voice carries the author's role, company and any relevant commercial interest.
AI-assisted writing
Where AI tools assist in drafting, that is disclosed. AI does not author CXOROOM editorial without human authorship and review.
AI-generated imagery
AI-generated imagery, where used, is labeled. We do not present synthetic images as documentary photography.
Executive quotes
Quotes are used in context. We do not edit a quote in a way that changes its meaning.
Fact checking
Claims of fact — especially statistics and outcomes — are checked against sources.
Anonymous sources
We prefer named sources. Anonymity is granted only when the information is important and the source is at genuine risk, and it is approved by an editor.
Editorial independence
Ownership and sponsorship do not influence editorial judgment. We decide what to cover and how, independently.
